Ab Initio Developer
Description:
- Analysis & design of current and new ETL components
- Integration of new components into the existing system
- Ensuring ETL development adheres to technical standards and best practices
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Coding, testing, documentation and production implementation
- Assist the Project Manager in estimation, planning and delivery
- Liaise with multiple technology teams including Production Support
- Work within a technology team spread across several geographic locations
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of onsite Data Integration & ETL development experience
- Expertise with Ab Initio GDE, EME, Conduct?It and KSH scripts with recent hand-on development
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle or other RDBMS
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Experience in writing Technical Design Documents
- Ability to work in virtual environment, independently and as part of team
- Engineering degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
