Specific Responsibilities:
Oversee SFDC for Our Client’s business units and corporate departments:
• Develop and maintain Apex code, Visualforce pages and SFDC integrations to other third party solutions
• Perform Salesforce.com configuration and customization tasks using Salesforce objects and entities like Page Layouts, Standard and Custom Objects, Approval Processes/Workflows
• Develop reports and dashboards using Profiles & Roles for data segmentation and rollup
• Develop and execute data import, data load and mass update tasks
• Manage code deployments and 3rd party managed packages
Act as the SFDC technical expert for corporate and business units:
• Contribute to cross functional initiatives that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations
• Communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
• Troubleshoot and identify SFDC operational problems, devise solutions and communicate with business and technology stakeholders to drive resolution
• Articulate strategic technical vision for evolution of the company’s SFDC implementation, in cooperation with business and technology key stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience functioning as a Salesforce.com administrator for Enterprise edition or higher (preferably at mid to large, multi-dimensional organization)
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com development including creation of standard and custom objects and fields etc.
• Experience with technologies that work with Salesforce.com including: Java, JScript, Force.com platform
• Good understanding of data structures, data modeling, db schema is required
• Experience in moving code from lower sandboxes to production environment and address issues related to functionality, integration, etc.
• Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools
• Experience with Salesforce.com Web Services, Metadata API, Force.com IDE, custom objects, workflows and triggers
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• HTML/XHTML, jQuery, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, SOAP-based web services, Apex, SOQL
• Force.com developer certification preferred, three or more salesforce.com certifications (ADM-201, DEV-401, DEV-501) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, Computer Science preferred
• Able to adapt and succeed in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations, paying careful attention to detail and applying complex problem solving skills
• Able to work independently when needed and engage supervisor and colleagues in such a way as to maximize efficiency
